The REINHAUSEN Group is active in the field of power engineering and is composed of the Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen (MR) located in Regensburg, Germany and its 23 subsidiaries spread all around the world.
MR is the innovation leader, technology leader in the tap-changer business and also one of the first-choice suppliers of on-load tap changer for power transformers in various industrial applications.
Our core business is the regulation of power transformers. Other major divisions include the construction of high-voltage testing and diagnostic systems, the manufacture of composite insulators, the conceptual design of systems for reactive power compensation and surface modification using atmospheric-pressure plasma technologies. Our clients are manufacturers of high-voltage equipment and systems, power utility companies and large-scale industries with intensive power requirements.
After more than 30 years of successful cooperation with China, with already 25,000 tap-changers in operation, the REINHAUSEN Group is now further strengthening its commitment to the important Chinese transformer industry. Currently MR has 2 subsidiaries in China: Shanghai and Suzhou.
MR China Ltd., the 100% subsidiary of REINHAUSEN Group, is responsible for the sales and after sales service of all MR products in China.
